Pragma Float_Representation

Syntax:

     pragma Float_Representation (FLOAT_REP);
     
     FLOAT_REP ::= VAX_Float | IEEE_Float

This pragma allows control over the internal representation chosen for the predefined floating point types declared in the packages Standard and System. On all systems other than OpenVMS, the argument must be IEEE_Float and the pragma has no effect. On OpenVMS, the argument may be VAX_Float to specify the use of the VAX float format for the floating-point types in Standard. This requires that the standard runtime libraries be recompiled.
